yaacob was born on February 18th, 1956 in Casablanca.  Yaacob's father is isaac יצחק Ohayon (אוחיון) and his mother is zari זרי Ohayon (אוחיון).  His maternal grandparents were Meir מאיר Amzallag (אמזלג) ז"ל and Eisha עיישה Amzallag (אמזלג). He has four brothers and a sister, named hananya, david, gabriel, zion and flora.  He is the oldest of the six children.
