Naomi was born in 1947 in marakeche.  Naomi's father was Meir מאיר Amzallag (אמזלג) ז"ל and her mother was Eisha עיישה Amzallag (אמזלג).  Her paternal grandparents were Yehuda יהודה Amzallag (אמזלג) ז"ל and Hnina חנינה Amzallag (אמזלג) ז"ל; her maternal grandparents were Shlomo שלמה Tedghi (טדגי) ז"ל and Luna לונה Tedghi (טדגי) ז"ל. She has two brothers and eight sisters, named yehuda  , yossi, Fibi, zari, Michal, rachel, Ninete, lilit, yafa and Shoula   .  She is the seventh oldest of the eleven children.
